I have a used ej257 block w/ crank and rods. The motor was removed do to piston failure that caused some damage to the cylinder wall in one cylinder and will need to be bored out. There is nothing wrong with the crank or rods. Im asking 350.00 obo plus shipping. Dont be afraid to offer.

Any idea how bad that cylinder is? Like how far over it would need to be bored?

A local machine shop said 99.75 should take care off it, but if not you could always go 100mm

any chance the rest of the engine is available, or are you using those parts? I'm wanting to have a full spare long block to build, and keep my stocker as a back up. Would still consider just the short block though.

That's cool. I'll have to think about it for a few days, I wouldn't even be able to come look at it for like 2 weeks from now, as this weekend I'm going to IIR to the meet/bbq, and next weekend I'll be at my baby shower. Obviously don't expect you to hold it for me either, if it's sold, it's sold.

I don't know, he just said his name was Caesar, he has an SRP bugeye, and was coming from Volusia county. Guessing it's someone else then, which is weird.
