Default what do you guys think ill run?

i wanna get the ZEX nitrous kit and run a 75 shot (ill use my emanage to retard timing so nothing goes boom) other than the nitrous i have an intake and catback a of right now, a header/highflow cat are comming soon. i ran a 15.3 with what i have now (poor launch too) is anyone with an RS running a similar setup?

thanks,
Nate

do not run a zex nitrous kit. they suck. why you may ask. well inside their little box they have a variable moving nitrous jet. i sell these all day long at my shop and we had to stop selling them because people would set them low and the actuator inside would force it self open to the larges jet and blow your motor. second they dont add real fuel like you need. i would only go with a nitrous express or nox system.

i thought the zex kit used jets just like everyone else. the unit come with 3 of them (55, 65 and 75 shots) nitrous express is a wet kit and i dont want to use a wet kit for fear of fuel puddling on the intake manifold. and what do you mean by "second they dont add real fuel like you need."

on older models of zex they used a variable jet. also all of their kits are dry kits. they only add fuel pressure, so that makes your injectors and fuel pump work harder. a wet kit adds fuel in the nitrous fogger. its much safer to use a wet system.

while a dry kit makes the car itself work harder you dont have a risk of manifold backfires from fuel puddling in the intake track. so basicly the zex kit is exactly like an NOS dry kit, its just simpler to install. at least thats what think, but hey, prove me wrong, for now im still sold on the zex kit.

Well, I finished the install of a NOS wet kit in my WRX and it was not hard at all. Just take your time and follow the directions and it should take you only 1 full day at the most. I worked on mine for 3 to 4 hours a day for 3 days and I installed a purge valve the bottle heater and a remote bottle opener along with the entire nitrous system. could have done it in one day, just took my time.
