Default never ending oil leak

I have a 2006 STI with a built motor probably around 2,000 miles on it.
I have an oil leak on the top of my block, passengers side.
the oil leak is leaking into a crevice directly below the PCV breather port/hoses. I had the PCV hose replaced, and it is still leaking. there is a plug just to the right of the PCV hose, going into the block. I'm wondering if the oil could be slowly leaking out of this plug? has anyone heard of this? it's the only other area oil could be coming out of and making into the crevice that it is infact going into. I'm thinking the shop who built my motor may not have sealed this plug all the way or it has a bad o-ring? any thoughts, please, i have been trying to figure this out forever

Clean it up and run the engine, observe where the oil is leaking from. You can always try UV dye.
