Does the elbow for the thermostat have a gasket between the gasket and the engine itself? I know the thermostat itself has a gasket but I was wondering if the thermostat's gasket seals the elbow also. I replaced radiator with new hoses and new grimspeed t'stat and now it's leaking somewhere.

The rubber ring on the thermostat seals the thermostat housing (elbow), No other gasket required.
Check that you have your hose clamps tight. |
