If you are worried about the price the best thing to do is call around and get some quotes.

Come to the next Ice Race on Big Lake on Feb 11 and you might earn a $100 off coupon for Fast Lane.

Well I'm not really too worried in price. I make good money and am also looking to get my 2011 Sti painted too. Just wanna know who the best is really. But I don't want anything outrageous. But the best of the beat would be good

Fast lane WILL be closed for the next three months due to slow traffic. I stopped by to get a quote on my bumper and they said they're closing down for awhile.

If you want your car to look burnt orange an stay that way for awhile I would not take it to a cheap paint shop... IE the one listed above.

Ask a member here about his "yellow wrx and cheap paint shops"

Seascooby has a friend that's real good at painting maybe try him.

Don't know the shop personally, but for a Paint/Body shop to be closing down during the snowiest winter in years, is a bit surprising. Do they have a booth with a bake cycle? If not, it could be hard to get "production" business out of the door, but that would surprise me.

If I end up making it back down that way, and I can score a shop/business that's closing up I intend on doing a lot of complete's or restorations until I can get my name out there. I'm a proponent of the small guys in town that may do it on the side or out of their garage/shop, because 'typically' they want the return business, and the single customer is valued more than the masses.

mars chano he works for able. fast lane does really good work and besides my buddy at able i wouldn't trust anyone else but steve (fast lane). he did work on the old lades evo cause the shipping company jacked her car up and it came out perfect and he hooked it up on the price. other things that help that he will tell you is to have certain pieces off. so door handles mirror skirts etc. of you're gonna have the inner door sill done take off the door cards. silly **** like that will help on price point as well. but if you're not worried then it's whatevs.

ak-gt fast lane is a branch of able so it's no big d for them to close especially when by mid april they'll be booked for close to the rest of the year. last time i spoke with steve he said it's usually like that for him.

It's been a while since I've been in the paint scene in anchorage, but Able is where I worked for about 4 years. Good to hear Fast Lane is just a "branch", I enjoyed working there.
