Default Has anyone made Custom Bumper vents for 99-01 RS front bumper?

i'm really not sure where to find them, and i'd rather not buy them directly from a Subaru dealer, so i was wondering if anyone had made some custom ones out of wire or anything like that. if so, post how you did it thanks.

~~Quentin

All the ones I have seen were just when people removed the plastic vent and then ran "chicken wire" like they do for the grilles and hood scoop behind the bumper. It looks pretty good. I just painted mine to match the color of my car.

Well, I just cut it,used body filler/patty,paint,and put the mesh thing glued on. It's not very hard. This thing is made of ABS prastic or something,so sharp cutter is just fine to use.Good luck!

Home Depot carries stainless steel mesh that they refer to as "Gutter Grating" for an affordable price.
