Default Updates to my Legacy Turbo and Japan Performance Parts!

Did some work last night I figured you guys mght be interested in.

Ove rthe past 2 weeks, I noticed a small water leak coupled with a rattling sound from the drivers side head area. Turned out to be a water pump, so we went ahead last night and replaced it, t-state, timing belt, idler pullies, tensioner, hoses, etc. Took a total of 3 hours start to finish, so I was pleased!

All took the opportunity to do the Go Fast Bits alternator and crank pulley set which includes belts. Nice little mod, very easy to isntall, ad defiantely good gains, especially mid range in the RPM's...just revs much quicker now.

Also did an HKS boost gauge and pod last week, doing the boost controller as soon as more are in stock!

Next week: Godspeed downpipe (leftover) and we are going to custom make a cat back section..I am going 2.5 inch from the downpipe back, no cats.

Also, don't foget we stock, or can obtain in one day, most all of your stock Subaru parts needs; from seals and water pumps, to oil pumps, gaskets, etc., so let us know and we'll do our best to help out!!

Also, to those interested; We are considering doing a Group Buy on the Fujitsubo exhaust manifold for the Legacy BC Turbo. This is a full tubular 4-2-1 equal length stainless header. Price will be around $650.00 plus shipping

Wow, great to hear about all these great mods on a legacy turbo. The header is an interesting bit. Would love to hear more about it.

Word dude!
Have you done any suspension work yet?
Are you going to add an intercooler? I've got an '02 wx intercooler that I'm going to try to shoehorn into my sedan. It's not going to be easy, although someone from the BC-BF list supposedly did it.

Suspension:

I am running Tein HiTech Springs (for a GC8) with KYB GR2's for a Legacy Turbo, and Sti Strut tops (again for a GC8) front and rear..car is nice and flat, and ride very well.

Also running wheels from a 1998 2.5 RS (gold baby!) and Yokohama A520's. Engine wise, we have a customer car coming in next week that is getting a full treatment, from JIC coilovers to a Vf23 and everything in between.....I am going to probably take his top mount off his hands in exchange for a reduction in his install bill. Might take his turbo too, but not until I find and can study compressor maps of the stock BC turbo unit to the '02 WRX one. Although I figure the stock WRX turbo would make installing the IC (and of course, so Samco hoses from off the shelf here!) much easier to do.

I can get pics of the Legacy header tonight...very nice

I am not after much with this car at all, as it is my daily driver for right now. With my GVR4 geting put through the "nuts" mode with its new motor, and all the work done to my ZX, I need a relibale car, and that means minimal mods. To be honest, what I would really love to do is find a 1997 or newer Legacy 2.5 GT, red or white with leather and a blown motor/tranny, or both, and swap the whole drivetrain from my BC into it.
