I'm new to tuning and stuff and I'm just wandering at is an accessport and what does it do?

The AP is basically a tuning map transferring device onto the cars ECU, tho it can do other things like datalog, read cells, show sensor data, also has a dyno/performance meter, and a few more things...

Do they come with programing to put it on your computer so you can have different settings?

I totally recommend getting an ap. Lots of others claim getting an open source tune is the cheaper route but you can store multiple maps and switch them with incredible ease. I also use the ap for my a/f gauge until I get one. Deff the single best mod I have done. For the power, ease of install and multiple uses there is none other that can compare
