Default 04 WRX Accessport and Manual BC?

My accessport will be arriving tomorrow and I just thought about the situation I'm in.

My car had a Perrin Manual Boost Controller installed before I bought it and it is currently at 17psi.

My question is will I have a problem with any of the maps I load onto it? If so i would prefer to just revert back to stock. Could anyone provide me with any steps on converting back to stock? I can't seem to find anything online.

I'm aware of how to flash it just not sure how safe it would be to use it with a manual boost controller. I read that I might have to adjust the wastegate duty cycle but that's about all the information I've been able to find...

Normally you shouldn't run a MBC with OTS AP maps, you should have everything the same as the map notes say as that is what the are best at running... Now... can you get away with a MBC set up to the proper Psi?... Maybe, depending on your fuel, your IAT, your knowledge, Your self control...

My fuel 91 octane poopy California gas lol knowledge, trying to learn, self control enough to not want to damage my expensive engine.

If anyone has installed an aftermarket boost controller what exaclty was removed? I've seen a couple of diagrams but the boost solenoid showed in pictures doesn't match the bcs I've seen.

Hello. An aftermarket manual/electronic boost controller or boost controller solenoid should not be used with our off-the-shelf maps. You can certainly get a custom tune from a shop that uses our AccessTUNER software. But, if you are sticking with the off-the-shelf maps, we would suggest that you put it back to stock:
