Default 06 STI engine n trans swap into 03 impreza outback?

im thinking about buying a 06 sti motor and tranny, it comes with the motor, trans, the ecu, dccd controller for tranny, trans mount, rear diff, drive shaft, all axels, Clutch and flywheel and shift link.

what else would i need to do to get this swp easy peasy. i kno it would probably need a rack n pin for the rear. and possibly a new suspension for it, but im not sure, all i want to know is what id be getting myself into by trying to swap all of this into a impreza outback sport!

i need everyones help

You will need the entire wiring harness from the STI and '05 or newer STI knuckles.

More or less.....

You can do an STi swap without swapping the knuckles. Go with a 2004 trans, and you can re-use your front axles, use a WRX 3.90 rear diff and driveshaft and you can retain use of your rear axles / hubs no problem.

With the 05 and up swaps, ive read many accounts of people doing Hybrid axle swaps. There is literally a dozen ways to do an STi drivetrain swap successfully and safely.

05-07, you would need the front axle seals and stubs and a 3.70 R160 rear diff. IIRC, the rear diff is from an 06-07 WRX.
