I am building a volkswagen type1 with a ej25 dohc this is a list of the parts I have for the car and a couple questions I hope to get to or near 400 whp. Keep in my I should have little less horsepower drop with not losing power threw driveshaft and other awd components. Not to concerned if I don't get it as long as it has solid long powerband

Haltech Ecu with avcs tuning
Oversized top mount
750cc injectors
Aftermarket oil cooler
Dual radiators from porsche boxsters
OKADA plasma direct ignition coils
Vf39 turbo
Custom fabricated aluminum intake manifold (to much unneeded stuff on factory manifold with amount of vacuum lines and clearance issues) it will has 2 1/4 inch runners with velocity stacks inside plenum. With fairly small plenum and long runners, since its not high revving and for quicker response it is still drive by wire

I was wondering what you guys would recommend for waste gate and turbo manifold pipe sizing exhaust will be three inch

Transmission is wrx 5mt with stage 2 clutch. It has a reversed drive. Ring and pinion and is shortened. I am looking into cosco 1.5 way LSD. I don't believe the transmission will be like glass since it will not have the shock force of a awd set up. and a 6 speed is way to big, also the weight is just over 2100 ibs 5 gears is enough

400 hp isn't going to happen with a vf-39

ej25 is it the ej255/257/25e/25d
your not starting with a N/A engine are you?

It is a turbo engine, from sti. Which turbo do you recommend for a autocross application

It is a 06 sti engine from a salvage wreck. I was just plaining on using the stock turbo but with the work that I am doing and have planned would a 18g be better off? since I do have big injectors and a good Ecu already purchased

Maybe I should looking into a few boost maps

I might look into running Meth. But would my injectors be to small?
