Custom ordered for around 39.

OBP STi 5-Door. no nav, just the SPT exhaust, 10" sub, roof rack and ski carriers, all weather mats. Dip****s at the dealer didn't realize that the cargo tray and sub weren't compatible.

STi no longer an Impreza at all... this thread is for prices on the 2012 2.0i Imprezas.

I think it would be best to keep this thread about the 2012 Impreza, and leave the STI and WRX out of it since they are not considered Imprezas anymore.

How will the price you paid for your STi help anyone looking at a 2.0i?
That would be better in the "How much was your 2011 WRX" thread.

Just got my SOA confirmation today! Fitting that it's today too (Love; it's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.)
I went into the dealer almost 3 weeks ago, so I am wondering where the vehicle actually is; at the factory still, on the boat, at port... I'm not sure, and the email didn't mention an ETA either.
Hopefully not too much longer.

I got my sport premium, 5 spd in white satin pearl with body side moldings, aero splash guards, rear bumper appliqué, cargo tray mat and the All weather package (which I believe is standard with the sport model) for $20,053 +ttl. I also added the extended platinum 6 year/72K miles warranty for $1277 (talked them down from just over $1500 ).

All said and done, I think I made out pretty well!

Close to Invoice for a PZEV model. Non-PZEV is about $300 less.

Impreza limited hb with moonroof, rack, rubber mats including cargo area, pzev: $23100 +t&l

This replaces a '94 Impreza wagon whose only major repair in 18 years was a fuel pump. That one cost $13000 (the car, not the fuel pump).

Sport Limited 5 door, non-PZEV, nothing extra: $22,173 before taxes.

No trade in, paid cash. Had to order and wait ~1 month for delivery.

Not the best deal, but not the worst either.

I have been quoted $19500 for a 4 door premium w/awp and mats. Also quoted $20k same package + dimming mirror, bumper applique, splash guards, cargo tray.

I want a hatch, but cannot find one I can afford :/

I thought the 5-door was only a $500 option? So, logic would say that the same vehicle in the Hatch would be $20k, and $20,500 with mirror/applique/splash guards/tray...

According to Subaru.com, the 5 Door Premium with AWP is $19,795 before TTL and destination, and adding the options you quoted brings the price to $20,200 before TTL and Destination.

Now, finding one in stock with those options is another story, and that's why I ordered my Sport. I'm ok with waiting as long as I get it exactly how I want it.

Exactly. Unfortunately in Socal there are very few premium hatches available that don't have the moon roof/alloy package on top. I managed to find a base specced premium, but that is 5 hours away and still at $20,500. Beyond that, the best prices I got were $21,300 for another hatch. It seems that I can get >$500 below invoice on sedans, but similarly specced hatches are going for $500 above and nobody is prepared to budge on this.

I think I am going to go sedan and just hope I can find a roof rack option for bikes. I need a way to carry skis anyway. Does the sedan not have mounting spots for the roof bars? I don't understand why subaru is not listing cross bars as an accessory for the sedan.

...and we can't wait - as much as I would like to - because we currently have no car.

I did get offered a sport premium with homelink mirror for $21,270 today, but it is just slightly out of my budget unfortunately.
