So... Basically I can avoid the Manual Transmission Mode by bypassing the clutch normally.. and then wiring the NSS wire (from the ECU wires?) to the hood pin input on the remote start.

This will trick the remote start into thinking the hood is closed.. (actually just the car in neutral) and can start it with help of the clutch bypass?

Please if anyone can confirm.

Yes that is what it means.

What I do for my manual transmission starters in subarus is hook up the hood pin input as well as the tach wire to the Ecu (this means I don't have to wire into the engine bay at all)

As well I hook up the ebrake wire still to the ebrake input on the starter brain. Reason I do this is just for another safety feature meaning the ebrake MUST be engaged in order to remote start.

Vehicle in neutral. Ebrake up. Will start.
Vehicle in gear. Ebrake up. Won't start.
Vehicle in neutral. Ebrake down. Won't start.

Just as a precaution in case for some reason the hoodpin input fails. Not very common but over the past 5 years of installing I have had brains fail where they think the hood is either always open or always closed no matter what the situation.

Hope this helps.

That is perfect... I want it just like that..

Could I bother you to clarify on this?

"What I do for my manual transmission starters in subarus is hook up the hood pin input as well as the tach wire to the Ecu (this means I don't have to wire into the engine bay at all)"

So the hood pin input on the starter gets connected to the (NSS and Tach Wire) ?

I apologize for the newbness.. Don't worry I don't plan on even attempting this for a few months until I have zero doubts.
