Default Cobb AP will not power in car.

Two weeks ago I put my car back into stock mode. Since then I have not been able to power on my cobb ap to put my 93 hwg tune back on. I purchased a new dongle, 3 new cables and nothing worked. I can connect it to the PC just fine and access all my maps, firmware etc. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? The only thing that changed on my car was a new battery. The AP was not connected at the time of change. Battery is a red top optima, old one was yellow top. I have this horrible gut feeling something is up with my ecu or the usb port on the ap is dead.

Oh and yes my car starts and run, I didn't ever experience any flash freezes or power cutting off in the middle of a base flash.

Check your fuses. OBD diagnostic plug should have a fuse

It's possible you might have a dead AP screen. Give us a call (866-922-3059) or an email (tech@cobbtuning.com) with your full name and phone number, and we can set up a repair ticket for you!

The screen powers on fine when connecting it to the PC. I checked all the fuses under the drivers side and under the hood. Everything looks fine. I am going up to autozone later today and try to see if they can pull code off the OBD port. Will post the results.

If the USB port to the car is broken, the screen will not power up in the car. Luckily, this is something we can repair so you don't have to buy a whole new AP. If the OBDII code reader works and you narrow down the issue, please give us a call or email and we can set up a repair ticket for you.

Actually it isnt the AP at all. I went over to a friend house and his OBD2 reader would not power on my OBD2 port. I also drove to autozone just to double check and have them also check. Nothing. I have pulled every fuse I could find under the driver side and under the hood. I dont know what is wrong if I have some sort of physical connection issue or what. My OBD2 port was fine two weeks ago when I put a base flash on my car.
