Default The Nissan Invitation concept

The Nissan Invitation concept is set to star at next month’s Geneva Motor Show. Nissan insiders have told us that the supermini-MPV concept points the way for next year’s Note replacement.

The Invitation has sporty lines influenced by the Juke crossover, and looks far more aggressive than the current Note. These images show deep bumpers and sharp lights, plus a panoramic glass roof.

WOW. People complain about the Korean manufacturers ripping off design cues, but this thing screams Honda Fit down to even some very fine details. I know cars in certain segments will look close but this is ridiculous. This does look good but I could see it as the 3rd gen Fit.

Seriously, drop off the Nissan badge and I would have sworn it was a new Fit concept.

Is that black paint or does the windshield actually go all the way back to the back seat?

OOPS, never mind. I just saw the reference to a "Panoramic Glass Roof".

Interesting thing to have in a hail storm.

Finally, a good looking option to the Fit. The current fit is so awful looking.

I agree that it looks just like the Fit, seems like its getting harder and harder these days to come up with something original. Everything's been done.

The Juke actually is selling well. Must be alot of blind drivers out there.

Oh, and.....this looks like a Fit with a CRZ back end. Blatant ripoff.

As everyone stated, my gosh does this look like the Fit! Come on Nissan, you have to do better than this.......put some effort into the situation.

And on a side note, the Juke is not horrible looking in person, imo, but DAMN does it feel super small inside. I sat in one a while ago and didn't even want to take it for a test drive for the heck of it. My wife has a Scion Xd for crying out loud and it feels like a minivan in there compared to the Juke.

I love the Juke. Every time I see one I think of a Dakar race car, which if I ever bought one is exactly how I would outfit it. LIghts, lights and more lights!!!
the juke is unique in a world of me-too design.

This car above screams fit, but I happen to also like the fit, I think this concept looks far better, but will hold judgement until I see the more toned down (and probably more FIT looking) production version.

Aside from the GT-R and Z, the Juke is one of Nissan's only cars that doesn't scream second-rate. Brave design and powertrain.
