Great event yesterday! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Very surprising result for me. More lights next time will definitely make the night time portion a little safer, although it is still exciting blasting into pitch black at 100mph +

Hopefully I can make it out to the next event, probably move to the street class, just need to get some wider tires...

Yes and yes, NT01's, they are 225/45/17 so probably a little small for a 3200lbs car. I think I'm going to get some 255/40 RS3's so I can join you guys in Street class, I feel that's where my car should be...

Here's two pic's from the event. I have a good video of the actual competition session but I need to go over to my friends house to upload it, as my internet is no bueno.

Yeah, its an 05 Spec C motor. Just running the factory turbo setup for that motor right now, twinscroll VF36, its super responsive. Its making 300whp and 320wtq on Yimi Sport's Dynojet.

Those are some great pictures on there

I wish, one of these days... I'm probably going to throw in a couple gallons of 100oct from the track gas station in at the next event as I bet it will be blazing hot!

Thumbs up

Great Event yesterday!

Not totally convinced that Mueller's Evo really qualified for Street Class , as he ended up winning the Unlimited as well when he switched to race tires, but it's all good and I had a blast.

The RS3's performed very well once I got used to their limits and I was really happy to run an almost identical time to the last event in that crazy heat on street tires!

I'm not sure if I'm going to make it to the August event but I'm definitely planning on the following one!

That sucks you got a hole in your radiator John, hope everything worked out with RRE fixing it and getting back home.

It was great having you out again Ken, once again helping the Subies show that they have the ability. Yea the Mueller thing... I will just leave it at that. Hard to pass up a trip to Buttonwillow though and Extreme Speed is going to have their Extreme Time Attack that same day. If you want more info on the time attack check it out here.

Also just asking Ken but how much stuff did you walk away with from sunday? haha
Where are some in car vids too, so we can check out that driving?

Haha, yea I snagged some good prizes!

Oil pressure gauge from the last race

Whiteline RCA's from the Subiextreme Street class

A shirt, a few little Subaru goodies and $20 bucks off the next event from the raffle!

I brought the GoPro Sunday, but never put it on! I kept forgetting about it...
I still have to upload the video from the night event, just need to head to my friends house later this week hopefully.

HAHA! I'm glad I signed up for that forum.

I'm going to try and make it to Buttonwillow, never been so it should be extra fun. I didn't realize there was a 2 month break till October, which will be perfect to let my car chill out and save a couple bucks so I can keep coming out to these.

Make sure you guys get AAA plus or premier. AAA plus gives you 100 miles free towing four times a year, and I beleive their are other option for 200 miles free towing, and 400 miles free towing.

We tech'd John's car due to quite a few hands being raised on it's legality and what was misled on the Muellerized forum about it being a client's car, when it is actually John Mueller's. Bottom line the car checked out okay.

Ben was following him, and he would brake 30ft after Ben started braking going into the bowl. It was impossible to close the gap after that. Must be nice to have $5000 dollar brakes.

Right now the rules are open on brakes, with no points adders.

If you look at 2nd through 5th, its about a half a second spread (super close), and we are all OEM Brembos and a 245/255 tire. John has a 265 tire, with Stop Tech BBK all around. Either way, his car is legal, and an impressive feat he could bolt on slicks and win unlimted and get FTD in a street car with full interior, A/C, and could technically drive the car home.

We would be right with him if we had his brakes.
