I went down to visit IAG yesterday afternoon to check on how the build is going. Had a good tour of the facility got to meet the tuner the guy working on my car among others like JJ and Rick. They have a very nice facility down there. I've been around a few shops and IAG is definitely well set up and clean. Everything is going good engine is totally assembled just waiting to go in the car pretty much, so I should be ready for pick up sometime next week.

Picked up my old block from them while I was there and a few other things. This morning I pulled it apart to see how everything was.

Just as I suspected Cylinder #2 Busted ringland

The other pistons looked fine besides cylinder #1 had a lot of blow by it seems.

Cylinder 2 (left) 4 (right)

Cylinder 3 (left) 1 (right)

Just a light score on cylinder #2 wall. Nothing my finger nail even caught on.

It was good seeing the car and things being assembled, it seems like everyone there has some mixed opinions as to what is going to happen once it all done

Had a good time spent a few hours there and met everyone I think I needed to. The ride was good it was 88* at one point on the way down!

I finally got the car back last Thursday, big thanks to JJ, Rick and the Crew from IAG Performance! The car feels amazing, rides great for the ride height, idles better and runs smoother then stock despite having so much done, TGV, air pump, delete, 1000CC ID injectors, dom5 ect...
I've been running the car in for about 500 miles so far. Gas mileage has remained very much the same which is great, ran a little bit a boost through it 5psi-8psi and the car feels great right up untill 4500 rpms which is as high as I have gone so far.
End of the month the final tune is scheduled to finally see if it was all worth it.
Again a big thanks out to IAG they really went out of their way and went above and beyond for taking care of everything from pickup of the car 200 miles away untill the very end.

Couple shots a few cosmetic blemishes to get brushed up but otherwise she is in full summer swing.

Heatsoak what!?

Awesome build. It will be like Christmas morning when you get the final tune done and get to let her rip.

Thanks again guys, I try to keep it clean so no one will ever suspect I've got a corvette eating machine even if you look under the hood!
Well I hope, it would be nice to see 501whp
Any guesses on what she is going to make?

Car looks good man, just needs some hella flush wheels lol. Where did you get the gold foil from? Was it a huge difference in intake temps when you did the TMIC?

Fixed.

Such a beautiful setup. I'm not in love with the bumper on an otherwise stock appearing car, but I'm not against it either. It just seems to stand out a bit as an aesthetic modification in an absolute sea of functional ones.

Regardless, well done and good grief. That had to [$] hurt.

Yea wheels are on the back burner right now unless I can swindle something. The DEI reflectagold I usually get from summitracing.com their prices are a little better then direct from DEI and they ship pretty quickly. It's doing it job so far i haven't gotten to much through the car yet power wise but I can otherwise touch the turbo blanket after 45 min drives no problem. Intercooler is cool the touch I'll have to bring the temp gun with me to the dyno and see how hot things get.

After the tune gets done I will. Unless you're interested in just seeing a smooth idle.

I don't usually buy aesthetic pieces but I really messed up the factory one in the snow last year. So for my birthday my gf decided to split one with me so I chose what I thought was closest to oem and nothing crazy like varis or c west.
The bumper aids in performance though. It feels like it hugs the road betterwhen I swapped them, It also helps to have a lot larger opening right where my air intake is.

I was thinking about getting a new tmic before the summer starts, just wondering how much if any or what will need to be tuned? I give you mad props for only running 8 psi boost. LOL, must take so good discipline! What do you plan on running once you are fully broken in? Drive it like you stole it!

I do have wmi as well to aid in cooling efficiency if needed. It's all hooked up and ran just have to take the system out of standby if we need it.

Did a little work today, gave her the spring clean up, wash, clay bar, polish, wax, sealed.
Wrapped the grill and lowers in a little Cf not to much I like it hope you guys do as well. First time using vinyl so be easy!
Also modified the bumper to accept the cusco front power brace as well.

And by this time next week I should be cruising with some real power. *Hopefully*
C&C as always is welcome and appreciated.

I hear you on that one I put on just over 2000 miles in 3 weeks. For me it didn't really matter if I get on it I'm rev limited to 4.5k and boost doesn't start coming on till 4k can't really do anything with that lol.

Anyways should be on the dyno in about 9 hours! Very much so looking foreward to it. I have both dslrs packed one for stills and one for hd video so look for updates tomorrow hopefully good ones at that.
