Would love to see your whole fleet there nomad. Wouldn't mind riding to the show... could have last year but didn't. Doubt the roads or the lot will be in good shape in 2 weeks

what day are you planning on going nomad?

Gonna either truck or trailer them there. Once they are detailed….makes no sense to ride them there and ruin the work.

Will do, problem is, they actually charge the participants to enter their own bikes in the displays/contests…and none of the prizes are worth a ****.

while some riders do act like idiots... not all the blame can be put on them. I've had some close calls by cagers not paying attention. been cut off by plenty of cars who simply had to apply their brakes when someone slowed in front of them. instead they dive over without a look and run me into the turn lane...

I hate the blame game cause both sides are guilty.

Xactly!

doesn't make much sense does it?Everyone asks me why I don't enter each year….

I figure, entering once and making an impression will be worth it.

oh yeah i definitely know this, i rode for about two seasons and i've had close calls as well. i should've been more specific though, i'm blaming the ones who intentionally do it.

cars watch for motorcycles.
motorcycles watch for cars.

HAS to go both ways in my opinion..a lot of the young aggressive riders think it's just "watch for motorcycles".

but anyways..yall be safe as the gravel will still be on the ground.

Your right. it goes both ways.

And I agree, a lot of riders have the impression that people in cars are the ones that need to be watchful. It takes more self control to ride safe then it does to drive a car safely I find. A bike just glides between cars with so much ease and lack of space haha.

Thats my problem with riding with groups. I tend to end up way behind everyone else cause I don't ride like they do. By the time I get to the car they passed, the oportunity has closed. I'd just rather get there late then not at all.

$20 if entry before the 31st. $30 after that.

You really don't win anything except a trophy. It really isn't worth the hassle to get the bikes down there.

If you do, the bikes sit all weekend, mostly unattended, and can be sat on by any ole yahoo who wants to "check them out". All to just have the BMW crowd show up and vote for ANY BMW that happens to be at the show.

My buddy Matt with the Moto Guzzis went through this whole deal a few years back.

No thanks.

Honestly, I've never been to the bike show. I can go to the dealerships and see the same stuff.

Barb at Alaska Leather has a better event after the bike blessing at her shop.

I like going to the show. all the dealerships under one roof. But if your serious at looking/buying a bike... I would say its to crowded. I like going to the dealership itself for that personal touch. The custom side is cool too. I like looking at the restored classics.

When is the bike blessing? I didn't make it last time due to work.

The show or the bike blessing?

the bike blessing, I don't know when that is.

The bike show is April 7-8 weekend. small arena next to sullivan arena.
