Well congrats on the kid. I like Kirby's method better though. When he had a kid he bought a strictly fun car to go along with the leggy!

Congrats on your new addition, sleep all you can now. Hey Joe how is the back seat in the ST, your car seats fit OK? You still have one kid in a rear facing one right?

The backseats would be a littke tight for a carseat behind the driver. But I would honestly have to say that it wouldn't be any worse than it was in the STi. If tou get one over there you can get the rearview camera option that is not available in the states.

You guys see the new Forester? I think I like it especially the turbo without a hoodscoop.

It's going to be longer, wider, and taller so that means its probably heavier. It is also going from a 2.5 to 2 liter which means it may be a while before they get all the kinks worked out. It looks sharp but I like the hoodscoop look.

I think they are using the same motor from the new LGT in japan, a direct injected 2.0 and the turbo is connected to the exhaust manifold like he last lgt we had in the States.

i'm pretty sure you are correct on the engine and turbo stuff.

i personally am not a huge fan of the new subarus coming out, at least what i have seen so far. i don't really like the crosstrek (what exactly is the market difference between the crosstrek and the forester?), i don't really like the looks of the new imprezas (looks like subaru stole right off of Ford's paper from the new focus), and i feel like the 2014 forester looks just like the two of those vehicles put together....just my personal opinion though.

I DO LIKE the fact that they are using direct injected 2.0L turbos though...that is cool. really opens up the possibilities as far as tuning is concerned. there is a whole lot that can be done with direct injection.

Just wanted to see how you are liking your ST? Any complaints yet or do you miss the STI? You are the only one I know with one so need to know any issues before I take the plunge. Side note, Cobb released the AP for it.

I love it! There is a lot of talk about release of the new RS next year though. It is suppose to be a US release as well as European market. It would get a significant bump in hp, 301 up from 254. The only issue with the car is the rear motor mount. I guess everyone has been replacing them with the e-focus mount. Plenty of after market companies are already addressing this as well. All in all it seems to be a solid car. I have a feeling ford will be puahimg these out for a while.

I'm getting around 26 mpg. From what I have been seeing on forums a lot of peopke are getting 24 but I think they are driving it like they stole it everyday.
