Installed the Invidia Q300 exhaust and Kartboy shifter bushings with Evo-killr on Monday. Let me start off by saying this is the wrong week to work on a car! We were sweating like pigs out in the heat of the day! Big thanks to Evo-killr!

I'm really liking the sound of the sedan Q300. Very smooth, deep, throaty exhaust that's perfect for a dd IMO. Since I was running a catless dp with the stock cat-back, I think it may have cleared up some turbulent air flow bc it definitely drives smoother now that the Q300 is on. Less jumpy, stutter when engine breaking, in traffic, etc. As far as fitment goes, the tips are very uneven (driver side lower than passenger side). I've done some more research and it seems if I loosen up the y-pipe connections and adjust the fitment on the hangers I will be able to correct this? Anyone have thoughts on exhaust fitment?

As anyone knows who's installed the Kartboy shifter bushings, they're awesome. The shifter definitely cleaned up some of the OEM slop and shortened the throw but the bushings really finished it up nicely. All I need now is a nice new heavy shift knob!

This is not intended to start a subaru vs world debate. I do love the looks and sound of my subie, I consider selling it because IMO I think the handling, power, ride comfort and overall interior fit and finish are FAR from a $35k + vehicle. I've just been pretty disappointed with those things I mentioned from day 1.

Not sure..I'd do a lot of research on Audi first. I don't know anything about them but have heard maintenance horror stories. Possibly BMW 3 series, Lexus GS series, Infiniti G37 sedan all I could think of car wise. I'd also look at trucks.

Funny that I post a gripe about interior fit and finish today then go drive my car, my thumb hits one of the steering wheel Bluetooth controls while turning, it's pops off the steering wheel and falls to the ground. Seriously? I literally lol'd and said WOW!

Well it sounds like i have fallen into the same boat as some of you. So it sounds like next weekend I'm going to do an un-install day. Free beer and pizza. So if anyone is looking for parts that fit 08 and up STI's you can have first dibs.
