My wife is also trying to learn her camera. I may start taking it out once I get my car and to car meets. I bought her a Nikon 7100 and two different lens, she has yet to really get out and use it. I guess mainly because she doesn't know how but I can't convince her to just go take pictures and learn what settings do what.

If anything I will take her camera and sell it for a upgrade on the car

guys, quick bit here, thought i had an actual heart attack today (almost all the symptoms), so i may or may not be coming out tonight depending on how i feel (by round of applause how do you feel? HES NOT CLAPPING!)

docs said everything looks fine and im not going to die, i just feel strange since it happened. so anyway, if i see you all? awesome. if i dont? sorry

if im dead? the STI gets buried with me. with the doors locked.

If I had what I thought what was a heart attack and felt strange the last place I would be is at a meet in the heat (what little heat there is today). I'd be taking it easy and relaxing inside (which is what I'm doing tonight).

Just a heads up, if you have any stomach issues(gastric) like persistent heart burn, acid reflux ect. Then you could be experiencing the same symptoms as a heart attach but it is your stomach. I had three nuclear test in a four year period and the doctors finally figured out it was my stomach. The same nerves are affected in both issues.
If you follow college football, you remember Urban Meyer left football due to heart issues. An expert found that it ended up being stress and stomach issues.

Hope this helps.

I may not make it tonight either, on account of my face being swollen and in pain. We shall see.

well it sounds like it kind of fell apart for everyone sorry i didnt make it out last night. i felt that rest was needed, so i stayed home and slept. i really think it's all in my head right now, because ill get nervous about it and start manually breathing and get super paranoid and anxious, but when im not paying attention to it, its fine. idk. also to the earlier comment on gastric business, i dont have any heartburn or stomach issues at all :/ it was really out of the blue.

been stressed much lately?

yeah, it was a pretty feeble showing last night, but its all good. Just three of us. Hope you're feeling better - or will do soon. These symptoms can also be related to stress and anxiety - though I'm sure your MD talked about that with you as well. I don't know what you've got going on in your life, but maybe a weekend of rest and relaxation will help clear things up and we'll see you next week?

Anyone want to meet up somewhere and do a car wash and wax meet? There are a few "self wash" bay-style car washes in the area. (one on route 1 in Woodbridge, 1 off 28 in manassas, maybe more that I don't know of.)

If all goes well, I should have my WRX next week. Definitely down for meeting for a car wash meet. I definitely need the tips on a detail kit and what works best. Also with getting a white car for the first time, I'm sure it's going to be a pain to keep it clean...at least to my standards.

What's up guys. I'm new to the thread and Subaru brand as well, but I've lived in Alexandria for a few years. Hopefully I can make it to one of these meets and show off my fire breathing monster 1400hp, all custom, 12 TVs and ps2! Ok so maybe that's a lie and I just want to feel good about my stock 06 wrx haha. anyways. I have a question. My wife if quite the tag along and I wouldn't have it any other way but she gets quite bored while I when I have man time and talk of subjects she has no knowledge. Do any other women/ wives show up to these to keep her company?

Yep. Not this week but the previous week I believe there were 4 of us wife/gf/SO types there. And a 6 year old. And this week my dog came along for the fun too.

Sounds like my wife. Although I sometimes wonder if she knows more about cars than me... We're definitely looking for new people and couples to hang out with.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to advertise but I've got a Facebook group called "Prince William Country Meet Up Group" which tries to do some hang outs (sight seeing, movie nights, dining out, house parties). It's not exactly just for Prince William County, we have people all around NoVA.

I don't have a Facebook but I'll see if it will let me look at the page... We're always down to crash a good house party lol.

Trust me, if there was a better way to talk to lots of people at once I would do it but Facebook is the easier way. I'm not a fan of "social networking" mainly because it's not social anymore. It won't let you view the page being it's on private, but once I meet some peeps and get numbers I may just text everyone.

I agree and I also had a Facebook once upon a time. I'm pretty open to most social events (thus the reason for posting in this thread). Anyone meeting up this weekend. Preferably with female friends as mentioned in my previous post?

Got family visiting this weekend, so the Red family is out, but do any of you guys play Scategories? Maybe for a future weekend. We're always happy to host at our house.
