Default Would someone like to take a look at my log? (Stage 1 2012 STI 4th gear wot pull)

Gentlemen,

Here at VIR today with NASA holed up in the T&S tower as usual, but I poked my head out to grab a log on the back straight:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...lhOWWFGMnUtQ0E

Car:
2012 STI
Mileage:
1027
Map:
Stage1 93 Octane Boost Select 93 Stock 3.10
Outdoor Temp:
59F

Basically my concern isn't power, just reliability, and I am wondering if the fine knock learning @ 3557RPM (and also, the 19.03 psi boost measurement) is something to be concerned about? I am tempted to run the 91OCT map until I can get a protune, just for safety's sake.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Rex,

You are on the high end of the boost targets for that map. If you are going to track the car, I might recommend the LWG map or the 91 octane map to have an extra "margin of safety". A track day pushes the car harder, so having a slightly less aggressive map is probably what you're looking for. Besides that small correction after peak boost, the log looks good!

Ian, thanks. The most excercise this car is likely to see is at an autocross, I time the races, not run them. Digging into this data on sunday, I loaded the 91oct map, which still has plenty of power for yours truly. I was more concerned about the stock map awfulness...I drove my buddy's '11 wrx before buying this STI, and pinging at 4k made me pretty leery of all the "ZOMG I busted my ringlands!" disease that is semi-endemic of the 3G's.

But thanks very much Ian, I appreciate your assistance!
