Question where to find GC coupes?

Like the title says, where do you guys find older Subarus for sale?

I'm only interested in a coupe for another "too far" street car so A/C, ABS, interior, and other crap are getting yanked day 1. For whatever reason the bugeyes are rising in value and they don't have the sleeper status I want.

This really depends on where you are at and how far your willing to travel or are willing to pay for shipping. There was a 99 coupe in jersey on here the other day that was only like 1700 but the motor and tranny were blown.

How many coupes do you have sitting around?

Found a perfect candidate out of state but it needs to be shipped here. Adds a lot of cost considering what I could do with that extra grand.

Are you saying that with that extra grand you can acquire one closer because it's really about finding a good candidate. Sure the one out of state is cheaper, but is it in good condition for your efforts. You'll find the car's but at the end of the day you're the one tackling the repairs and/or mods.

Advice, check for rust. I purchased a east coast rs and I didn't think the rust was gonna be a big deal. well 2 yrs later and now I gonna decided if its even worth fixing.

Thanks Alex, I see your cg skills are better than mine lol

As far as out of state vs local and the extra cost, this isn't a show car, daily driver, or profit project so the cash I COULD spend on freight SHOULD go towards something else. This is a dirt cheap lightest possible chassis to completely tear down and turn ridiculous. End goal is something not allowed to discuss on NASIOC...... but 2800 lbs and 600+awhp through a built 4EAT should do some damage from a dig before it blows up

Its time to sell my 08 STI and get this project going.
