07 LGT at litha, any background?

Hi all, long time no post.

I had a kid recently (2-4-12) and I am looking to switch to a bigger car.

lithia has a black 2007 legacy gt with 64k. I have not seen it in person yet, but I was wondering if anyone had any history on it.

Congrats on the little one.

I've never seen that car here before but be sure to ask for a CarFax or AutoCheck if you're uncertain about something.

Well it's a stock auto, so I'd say it's in good condition. I say go for it!

congrats on your baby! thats a great find, this legacy is "odd" I thought the GT was only available with 4cyl turbo, and stick shift with out the SI control, and the 3.0 R only with automatic transmission 6cyl engine with no turbo and with no hood scoop.... the one at lithia has the hood scoop, gt labels and SI controls weird......

I think you would be pleased with space amount with a legacy, borrowed a spec b for a while from a family member and compared to my wrx model the legacy felt like more room for a baby seat and easier to put a stroller in the trunk. I'd say it's a good route for yah.

Congrats on the baby Rawcode, and long time no speak.

The legacy pictured/linked looks to be fairly stock aside from the tint. So I am guessing it probably is in fairly good shape. As mentioned earlier a carfax/autocheck would at least rule out serious issues with it.

You will be happy with the LGT, my 07 was a blast and sometimes I still miss her. pretty nice interior compared to my 2000 LGT.

ak06LGT - Not sure on the weirdness, but my 07 LGT was a stick with SI controls.

Pretty certain that is my wife's co-worker's old car. She lived in Eagle River, commuted to Anmc. Completely stock….checking with her now.

edit: Nevermind, was looking at the wrong litha dealer. Too many of them.

So it looks like it has one accident, a front end collision back in 2009. Everything else checks out.

Took the car for a test drive, feels strong. No shimmys on the highway.

No spare. After the test drive it had some oil dripping from the oil filter. The front fender liners are not secured at the bottom.

everything in the engine compartment looks straight, turbo appears to be unmolested.

The steering wheel in the legacy felt much slower and heavier compared to my impreza. It took more effort to do a u-turn or any other maneuver.

I bought a Chevy lumina back in the day from them and it had tons of issues. I thought that 15 years would have made a difference.

I saw a forester x at RE that was advertised as an XT, bleh. It is over at Harley's now.
