Changed the oil, giving Mobil 1 a try. I've heard all the stuff, please dont turn this thread into another never ending debate about oil vs oil vs diesel oil

After paying for 4 rebuilds w legacy gt gearsets...I wanted something brand new and to do it myself. I will know ever bit if this transmissions life. 4800 was cost of trans new. I'm sure I could find used for 3000. 1800 to me is fair for the peace of mind.

Piece by piece replacing all the missing screws, clips, and bolts to my interior. Damn, the previous owner did a crappy job of putting it all back together...

Washed, clay barred, waxed the legacy and finally decided to debadge the hatch since I had the clay bar out to remove the 8 year old gunk behind it.

Replaced my Thule roof bike rack that was stolen a couple months ago with a Yakima roof Bike Rack that I picked up on CL for $100. Time to locate some Q78 Clips now.

Found that the O-ring (or more) is leaking from the power steering assembly. Fed it some Lucas ATF stop leak... Anyone know a kit/fix that does not replace the entire assembly? It's leaking right where the rack & pinion goes into that boot/gasket.

Replaced a few busted zip ties on the HDPE wheel well liner (upgraded and expanded so I can still run the AEM CAI without worrying too much about water consumption and mud at reasonable levels). Who knows when they broke, but it's still holding up like a tank!

Washed, vacuumed, and armor all wipes for all the damn dust/dirt I somehow get inside the cabin even with the windows up. Battle scars are evident >

Replaced my busted radiator!!

Pretty proud of my self. Still need to get more air out of the system (burping) I think at least because I am getting a some what erratic temp needle action.

Any suggestions?

Buy a radiator funnel. They are like 15bucks. They have a fitting that acts as a cap and its designed to let air out of the system while the engine heats up. Just keep the funnel 1/3 full of coolant while air bubbles rise. Squeeze the upper and lower radiator hoses to help. When u don't see anymore bubbles and just a stream of coolant on the funnel your done. Shut off the car pull the funnel and cap it. They have a stopper to keep the excess coolant from spilling out of the funnel also in the little kit.

Will make "burping" the coolant so much easier.

Installed dimpled and slotted rotors on my car, as well as EBC Red Stuff in the front and O'Reilly Ceramics in the rear. Also painted the calipers black. Sure looks a lot better.

Unfortunately, I discovered a very recently blown CV axle...
