Removed front end. Pulled motor, put on stand. Reinstalled front end.

Now in process of tearing down motor to check condition.
Have slightly lower compression in cyl 4 and fail leak down test.

Pulled mine a few weeks ago. Yesterday and today Wagaru and I tore it apart. Headed to machine shop Monday. #3 cylinder bearing and rod were toasty cakes.

Attempted to bleed the brakes but for some reason brake fluid isn't squirting out of the bleeding nipple on all four calipers. does any know what it can be?
*2006 WRX Limited 4 Pot Breaks*

1: the brake reservoir thing is filled all the way up with brake fluid
2: i Bled in this pattern about 5 times and the pedal is still spongy and no brake fluid comes out. Passenger Front, Driver Rear, Driver Front, Passenger Front.
3: i bought a new brake master cylinder

any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Put a wrx muffler on my coupe. Noticeable difference in top end power and sounds nice and bass-y. Stock muffler was the same one they use on the 1.8. The wrx muffler was almost bolt on. I had to modify my stock mid pipe just a little and one hanger isn't used. It sits a little off level but overall is a kick ass free upgrade. I am equal length so I cannot upgrade to a can style yet because it will just sound like a Honda...

Yup, its 22mm with the braces. Haven't really been able to tell much of a difference yet mainly because I haven't gotten on it much. When I was doing the install I noticed how flimsy the stock endlinks looked and made me want to upgrade. I had a $200 credit to whiteline so I ended up not getting them but I will upgrade the first chance I get. Install went much easier than I expected so that was nice.

If they are 4-pot/2-pot (aka fixed calipers) brakes then there will be a bleed screw on the inside and outside of the caliper (one for each 'pot'). You have to bleed them both, first bleed the inside pot, then othe outside pot...sounds like you got some air dragged back into the system as you were bleeding them.
