It's a titanium key, most key cutting machines will be damaged by the key. Also; if you take it to the dealer, they can access your key profile using your VIN and cut you an exact replacement. If you go to Home Depot or a locksmith, they make a copy of your current key. Not exact, might have problems with it since the soft metal in your factory key wears down over time.

^^^ Righteous headlights man!
I had to get under the car and tighten some crap. That's pretty much general maintainence when you get it off road I guess... Top hats were a little loose for the coils as well, and then snuck some JB weld on some of the plastic bits that are just too much of a pain (not anymore!). |

Car starts to make a weird growling noise that sounds like a power steering pump going bad...
So, um, they managed to take a 4.4L V8 and cram it transverse-style into the engine bay of a Volvo designed to take an inline-5 ![]() Hmm, but it can't be that bad right? I mean, how hard can it be to change a belt and an idler pulley on a 100k mile Volvo with a V8 crammed in it sideways? ![]() See that thing that looks like a strut bar? It's not a strut bar, it's the upper engine mount. Get that **** outta here. ![]() ****, the bushing in the upper engine mount is shot ![]() I ****ing hate these. They're everywhere to make it difficult to remove the plastic covers all over the engine. ![]() This is the hellacious tensioner that needs 100 lb-ft of torque to compress. Fffuuuuuuuu Ah, yeah, that's a bad idler pulley. ![]() Old engine mount and new engine mount. ![]() Old pulley, new pulley ![]() Overnight parts from Japan ![]() New idler pulley installed ![]() Cheater pipe...and scissor jack on the tensioner...so I can get the belt back on by myself. maybe. It still wasn't enough, and the tensioner was already max compressed...what to do? |

LOL. I am switching to the maxspeeds. Want these back? I was mulling around the thought of fixing that motor and building it into a frankie for the coupie.
![]() for this kinda low, you would need gc/gf struts. I'm not giving up the AGX's |

hmm that appeals to my need for moar low, lack of engine building knowledge/experience, and my over all laziness when it comes to doing major things to my vehicles... sure, will the leggo rear tophats be included? oh and are you still contemplating swapping cat back with me? i am still wanting a stock exhaust for stealthy, stealth like things. ![]() |
