yeah i know. i am debating on going sheet metal with my templates.

or doing a resin/fiberglass mold, make it wider to make an overfender like the S13/14/15 chassis.

it is just an experiment as of right now. need to cover 275/35s on 12.5s

so ive decided on fiberglass. it is alot cheaper and easier to shape.

anyone have advice on what fiberglass, resin, gel coat, i should use?

i also read on something named tiger hair.

the cardboard widebody was just a joke. it wont be THAT wide.

plus ill have a flare into the mold keeping the sti quarter panel design to reduce the width.

Lol I actually downsized a tire, from 285 to 275. It's more of a wheel fitment project.
Rears are 18x12.5-39

And eventually do a small housing s362/s366

I have been wanting to do that with a gold mgd can. I'm just too lazy to do it.

Today I decided I miss my car like crazy and want another, actually that's just about everyday almost. I miss driving it and working on it all the time. I want back in the scene so bad.

So I decided to start a separate savings account dedicated to funding my next bugeye. Gonna take me some time but can't wait to get another and start putting money away.

A friend of mine ended up with my old bugeye. I used to hate seeing it all the time. Now I like it.

Swapped the puny 17mm rear sway bar on the MINI for a ridiculous 25mm one tonight. Because it's a BMW, it only required about 45 different tools, four hours, removing both rear struts, and not to mention taking off the entire rear subframe.

But now instead of understeering, the car runs through corners like a scalded ape with stupid four wheel drifts. Tomorrow is rear brake pads and sensors on it, plus a supercharger oil change and short shift kit. Also, rewelding the exhaust where part of it snapped under hard cornering, however that happened.
