I agree, but I can still use it for the time being. Need to order new suspension since mine is leaking , and an AP so hopefully it will fix the bogging/fuel cut on WOT.

standard day: Topped off the oil, tightened a few bolts that randomly come loose, and exchanged some worm-drive clamps on the intake and intercooler with t-bolt style clamps. Much better and more easy to use (although I'm trying to be careful not to overtighten since I think they can crush anything!).

Just brought it home yesterday. Today I took it to the local lube shop for an oil change since I didn't know an accurate history. They said it was great and didn't need changed, good to hear I guess. The tires sucked, so had Discount Tire install new Yokohama's

Tomorrow I'll learn more about Subaru's I'm sure

I replaced the headlight bulbs and changed the cabin air filter. I installed a new tensioner pulley and then successfully snapped the bracket for it. I was only able to replace the PS/alt belt after that debacle. If anyone knows the part number for this I would greatly appreciate it..

Car wouldn't start today. Found out the prev owner left the battery cables loose, they lifted right off. So I removed the batt and cleaned under it and cleaned up the terminals. Sanded down a bad area of the hold down bar and painted it up. Put everything together and installed some charger leads for my Battery Tender, since it won't be a DD. Now it's much better

Also worked to cure a couple of noises thanks to the info here. Pulled off the driver side plastic panel around the seat belt and cut out the plastic ribs to fix the loud squeal when putting the belt on. Also put RTV on the plastic seat belt reel box in the trunk lid area. Maybe that will fix the noise on stiff bumps.

Great info on this site!
