Default Locked my keys in my car (Idiot)

Sup guys,

Locked my keys in my car. Anyone local to Yonkers or by Riverdale in the Bronx that can lend a hand tomorrow or recommend a locksmith that won't kill me with prices. Been quoted at $85 for tomorrow from a local locksmith.

Thanks!

The police helped me when I was locked out for free a couple years ago.. And my insurance actually comes to my rescue now if I do that.. Don't know if this helps.. But I know the feeling..

Find someone with AAA or your insurance should be able to help using roadside assistance.

Get a new key cut from your vin at the dealer. I got one for less then $20 if I remember like 4 years ago, but they did want to see the registration showing that I did own the car.

The closest dealer is a 20 minute drive away so that option isn't available to me unfortunately. Figured I'd just cut my losses and call the locksmith.

Do you have AAA? They can get it open for you. I unfortunately did this twice with my bugeye wagon (with the car running too) and both times they sent someone out with an inflatable bladder they slide behind the glass, inflate it, and than they use a long tool to hit the unlock button.

Took these dudes almost a half hour to figure it out. If I had their tools I could've had it done in less than 5

I wouldve just pulled the window apart from the rubber and stuck a coat hanger in there to unlock it. You can pull the frameless windows out a few inches without it shattering, I remember almost being able to fit my arm in there. That's why our cars get stolen so much.
