Alex, I am finishing the 93ss. Some parts from the wrx and one of the ss's will end up on the 91ss for willy. But one of the 92's has to be sold.

Its deciding which 92ss to tear down. I have lots of people interested in the wagon with the 5sp swap. If I can sell it without having to put the trans in id rather do that and strip the wht 92 sedan.

As for rds, yes... raise ur car up a bit. Last thing u want is ur front lip ripped off.

had a tire blow out sat.
went to costco, they wouldnt mount and balance cause i didnt buy from them. so sunday went to sears. they did everything i asked, mounted and balanced my STi tires i keep for emergencies, except they didnt tell me my tires rub the rear struts. so jeannie and i smell rubber all the way home. we go to her friends bbq in her fxt, come home so i can change over to the wrx wheels on my 93ss for now till i get spacers or coilovers... or both.... hehe. got other priorities right now so other stuff may have to wait till i get the engine finished.

hit a pothole as usual in jersey. you think with all the road construction they would fix the worst parts first... but nooooo, lets fix roads that no one drives on instead. car got a bit wavy in the back so i knew something was wrong.

i here a loud pop, i mean LOUD!!!! pull over and get everything out of the trunk, im not happy here. its freakin hot out and this happens.

take the wheel off to find this... >(
what in the F!!!
seriously jerz. you SUCK!!!!!

Sti tires installed.

not having a good few days, since my 17s wouldnt fit with the sti tires with stock suspension. i put the wrx 16s on. well, it rubbed the brake line and i lost all pressure coming to a traffic light. my quick reflexes managed to down shift and use the ebrake and avoiding ending up in someones trunk.

so here we have the broken line... (btw, notice the bleed nipple on the bottom. well get back to that in a min.)

all over the inside of the wheel, now i have to go to the powerwash and clean this crap off.

2 mins later, new line installed and giving the finger to the old brake line cause it coulda been a really bad day.

then the caliper gave an F you back. remember that nipple in the first pic, well it snapped right off. NOW, i have to get that out. got my spare wrx caliper and installed it. bled the line and good to go.

something else better not happen this week. i WILL snap!!!

How was your day??

mine did that. they shook really bad under hard braking. i went to mark's one day and we put new front rotors and pads on and it was good as new. after a bunch of these drives your brakes will start to warp.

Mark -
Sorry to hear all this. You should just stay home inside a bubble.

I hear you about Jersey roads. Last month, I stopped on the shoulder of I-80 to look for something. Ran over a screwdriver and it went through the tread and sidewall. Luckily it was my work car.

The month before that I hit a random metal frame chair in a rental car. A large truck in front of me saw it late and swerved at the last second, leaving me no time to respond at 70 mph. Not a folding chair - an old school Made in USA solid chair!

Pay all these taxes and they never clean the damn highways!
