The FB group is still there. However, the price of admission is that you must attend a drive and introduce yourself to sqc151, AncientRS or me.

We're not trying to re-create NASIOC on FB. We're not looking to create a public forum that anyone can join and post. We want to have a closed/private group of people who have attended at least one drive and are active participants.

There's a bunch of folks who are interested in the monthly drive, and want to join the FB group. And we're hoping to have you there one day. We just want to meet you face-to-face first!

Ok that makes sense I was wondering what I could have said to get kicked out of the FB group. So I am assuming for us newbs this is where we will get the info on the meet? I understand where you guys are coming from with a closed group though.

i always update the first post as to when the drives are.
and yes, we want to meet people face to face... hence the reason for FACEbook. for as long as ive hosted this drive. ive really met some great people. even when things go slightly wrong. EVERYONE chips in and helps out one way or another.

I live close to Bear Mountain now I used to be down in near the city. That is a great place to meet up though. The mountain is fun to drive as long as there isn't a ton of traffic.

I've been on a drive and I was removed. Granted it was over a year ago and you probably don't remember me :P. I gotta make it out again sometime!

When they go to the rally road it's your option to do it or not. You can just hangout and get to meet some great people.

I usually opt out of the rally road, it's definitely a fun road but it makes me nervous lol

I regretfully decline this month, again I can do April, just not the 22
