to cut the bosses off of the manifold i used a cut off wheel and sawsall. i ground down what was left with a die grinder with a 3m 36 grit roloc disc. then i went over that with a red 3m roloc disc. i'm not sure of how coarse that is. i used no paint stripper and have not polished any of it. it came to that finish just using the red disc. i'm going to sand it with 180 then 320, then zinc etch prime it, then paint it. i will be using a single stage urethane paint because it is very durable. i will be custom mixing my own color.

Just got back from bike week . 3000miles of straight road driving and I'm itching for some twisties. Im in for the next one.

thanks guys, should be doing my 1000 mile oil change by tonight. just waiting on an up-pipe gasket from precision and then have it installed and where good to go.

probly gonna stay at 20psi on 93oct w/ no meth till i get a bigger turbo and upgrade the fuel system.

For the next drive i think we should all go do the rallycross in up state ny. It's an all day event and pretty fun. It won't hurt your car that bad, maybe a scratch thats it. So who want's to go?

93 has no skid plates and dont want to break anything now that the 05 will be down again.

i was amazed i never blew my tranny in the wrx. i got a stop sign already drilled to fit a legacy you can put on.

wont fit with the oil pan i have. i have to switch over to the drain plug on the side, not the bottom. its on my list of thigs to do when everything goes on.

my intake manifold is done being welded, so now i can finish it. my new front mount will be here tomorrow. i'm gonna start stripping more of my interior and fabbing seat brackets.
