Ive done a lil searching and cant realy get a good clear answer. I just picked up an 02 wrx wagon and all 4 struts (maybe just 3) are wasted. this weekend i bought a set of springs and struts from an 04 WRX wagon that were said to have about 78k and came off a super clean un-beat car. My buddy just took his struts and springs off his 04 sti the fronts are still good but the rears are blown and clunky. I cant afford the full coilovers I want just yet besides i want to have another suspension for winter driving so the road grime doesnt kill my $1500 coilovers someday... I have no idea what combo to run but i was thinking from what ive read the 04 sti front struts will go right in and on the rear i was gunna put the 04 wrx wagon strut on the 04 sti spring and top hat... again ive looked and sorry if this has been covered but the whole sedan vs wagon vs year has got me all confused and i work so much my eyes and brain are fried. or just throw all the 04 wrx wagon stuff in and call it good. thanx in advance

the 04 sti strut will work with your wagon, however, you would need front camber bolts to get additional negative camber. 04-07 wrx/ 04 sti sedan front struts is different from the wagons due to the control arms.

For the rears, you would either need to use oem wagon springs, aftermarket specific wagon springs, or spacers to prevent saggy butt. I think the combo with the 04 sti springs, 04 wrx wagon strut and top may work, but the stock wrx strut is under damp for the sti springs.
