Well, you ****ers missed some good stuff. Sitting inside and no line at the bar. Had some Jubelale on nitro, Green flash Cedar Plank, Buffalo Bayou Buffalo Sunrise, DDH Hoppadillo, Crooked Line oak aged Imperial Pumpkin (that bottle was brought in though), solid stuff tonight.

Tharun, I have a reminder on my cell-calendar that says "Remind Tharun about co-worker 'issue' on Dec 12." That day is today. I do not recall putting this on my calendar, so either it was a long time ago and I've forgotten, or at the time, I had a buzz and immediately forgot it.

At any rate, you are hereby officially 'reminded' about this nebulous 'issue' that needs resolving that I have zero additional context pertaining thereto.

Etymology:
Origin disputed. Reportedly a jocular coinage by Bell Labs supervisor Don Macpherson in the early 1960s, from octo- (“eight”), with reference to its eight points, + -thorpe (after 1912 Olympic medalist Jim Thorpe, in whom Macpherson was interested). However, Doug Kerr [1] attributes octatherp to a practical joke by engineers John C. Schaak, Herbert T. Uthlaut, and Lauren Asplund upon himself and Howard Eby.
The Merriam-Webster New Book of Word Histories (1991) supports octotherp as the original spelling, and telephone engineers as the source.
Yet another common belief is that the name for this ancient sign for numbering derives from thorpe, the Old Norse word for a village or farm that is often seen in British placenames. The symbol was originally used in mapmaking, representing a village surrounded by eight fields, so it was named the octothorpe literally meaning "eight fields".

^^^ that is pretty freakin' hilarious... I heard someone talking about this the other day, forgot to look it up.

I want a shifter kart.

I want enough land upon which I could build a private track too (what would it take to build a small track, would an acre be enough?.. I'm thinking a kidney-bean with maybe an extra kink).

I also want about eleventy different old school motorcycles still.

decisions...

that, and the stupid lottery didn't pan out the way I planned... that's the last time I get my hopes up for -that- (until it gets to 1/2 a Billion again).

whats the fratmosphere like at petrol these days (er nights I guess)? Is it all asses and elbows? I am considering the journey, but I have a real fear of excessive coldness and hipster density.

The "Kickball Crowd" is more in the spring/summer time. It's not usually too bad on Thursdays.
