That was paint. Poweder coat when done right is like 4 mils thick. Like 14 layers of paint. You're not sanding that off as easy.

Outphase, the Federal tires have great reviews, but are tough to find in stock.
From what I've read, they top star specs and are similar to r888...slightly less dry traction but better wet traction. For half the price.

For that, I'm willing to wait for them to come in stock. lol

I didn't say it was an easy job sanding them down... because it wasn't. However, like Bruce said, the back of the spokes weren't done and the coat looked a bit uneven in some spots so he either did a crap DIY powdercoat job, spray painted over the powdercoat to touch up spots, or flat out lied and they were painted from the start. Either way, I'm very happy with the results.

Wheels look great and I know you do good work. You should get top dollar for em! People are always begging for those in WTB section.
