Went to NYIAS. honestly not impressed with anything however i took a Volt for a test drive, and i REALLY like it. changed my entire perception of EV cars. sat in the brz seats were awesome, the rest. meh.

walking around kind of 'car shopping' i can't seem to see anything that doesn't cost 60k+ that can rival the STi.

i'm going through some serious withdrawal. you really don't know what you got till it's gone.

cherish your rides boys.

car is going for second appraisal this week.

Don't gotta look very far for a car that can rival the STi: http://goo.gl/TljG6

Keep your chin up, dude. I had a previous car get broadsided by an old woman who didn't realize that her light had turned red 2 minutes before she got to it, hit it doing 50, and once the car was fixed(damage to rear suspension and C pillar), you honestly couldn't tell anything had ever happened to it. You'll nitpick each and every little bump and noise, but you'll get past it. Take it to the best body shop you can find for the body work and don't stress.

If it does get totaled, you should be fine. What's your payoff value on the lease currently? Since you put money down up front, if the payoff value is lower than the book value, you'll get a check for the difference. So, you might not lose your down payment.

i can't get an evo, the rear seats don't fold down. who ever designed it is a moron, why put the battery and windshield washer fluid behind the back seat? the cargo space is tiny.

at this point its a waiting game.

Weight distribution. Move 80 lbs to the back.

Also more room to work under the bonnet.

How often do you actually need to fold your seats down? O_o

i play hockey from a few times a month to almost 3 times week, stuffing a few hockey bags in the trunk and then putting the hockey stick in, i could see that being a hassle in the EVO. in the STi i just throw the seats down put it all in and go.

i wish they would fold down AND had a center arm-rest pass through.

Get a stick bag and just toss it in the back seat, problem solved.

Or, just get another STi. That works too =)

Does the RalliArt have seats that fold down? It's basically an Evo.

Dude, WTF was up with this post? lol, you have a bunch of different models of Lancers in there...first post is a last-gen base modem lancer with a body kit, tiny one is an Evo X, third one is a video game rendering of an Evo 8, and the last one is a Lancer Ralliart.

You could always pick up a slightly used Ralliart Sportback if hauling **** is a priority.

I fold mine down a lot, too. It was one of those things that made me really annoyed about my old STI.

Has an LQ4 in it with a cam. Pretty sick. This guy apparently swaps LSX motors into pretty much everything under the sun.

Here's the build thread for the car:

Here's grenading the rear diff on it:
