I have no clue what to get. I didn't really want to do the Subie/Evo thing over again but it's hard to beat them for the money.

Depends on your goals. It definitely is hard to beat the STI for the money.

Anyone know if the trunk mat for the Impreza sedan fits in the STI sedan? I think they are all the same but I wanted to be sure.

I was all about the GTR and 911T a few months ago but I lost interest. I don't think I'd be going hardcore modding with my next car. Since I'm not going to be racing it, I'd rather get something more comfortable with better gas mileage than my old Evo.

I get about 20-22 mpg. My interior is pretty comfortable, especially compared to my GD was. I can take long trips without having incredible back pain and numb ass cheeks.

Normally, for someone in your shoes, I'd say to go for a BMW or something but recently I've realized they are actually really ****ty cars. Have you looked at things like the Acura TL? They are really comfortable, good on gas, and well equipped. I almost bought one instead of my STI.

The budget is pretty flexible but really depends on how much car I'm getting. It's better I spend less though because whatever the car costs will come out of my trading account. Less money in the account = less stock buying power. It's is what I do for income.

I got about 22mpg in the Evo when I ran 93 octane. This time around I'd like something +30mpg.

I like the older gen TLs more than the newest ones. I think they take 93 and only get around 25mpg though. I haven't spent much time looking into them but I'll check more tonight.

Look at new TSX. Awesome deal. Cars are loaded and are really refined and have a nice pep with that little k series.

I'm looking at an older one with a tech package with low miles as a daily. They are good cars. Also more serious looking as well.

All good suggestions! Not sure if I'd get RWD living in NY. I work from home but I usually can't wait to leave my house. It also has to be able to tow 1,000 lbs but they can probably all handle that. Gotta transport my bikes!

Let's get a big turnout for this week's meet since it's my birthday. I swear if Ponske shows up in a thong, covering himself in oil... I'm going home to get my guns.

I wonder why they are recommending 20w50 weight. Maybe they're in Texas or some other hot environment? Also, how frequently do you need to change your oil if you run "race oil?"

Correct me if I am wrong as I am a noob within the realm of the applied sciences of oils, but wouldn't a 20w50 weight offer awful initial start / warm up engine protection?

Not trying to turn this into another oil thread*
