Do you have the cage all tacked up and just need it welded? Or need a full cage bent and welded?

why not just mig it? would get done alot quicker and much easier to track that down or just do it your-self, anyone who is good at tig'n is going to charge a good amount for the time a cage would take, if it were me and was between a well done cheaper to get done mig cage, or a guy who says he's good at tig'n does it and doesnt come out good, obv I would rather go with the for sure bet, anyone can mig and make it come out clean & strong

good choice with not cheaping out on the material either, chromoly is well worth the money and weight savings, what size is the tubing 1.75 or 2"

good luck with that

This exactly, I tig and mig weld by trade and anyone that tig welds knows that tig welding a cage is a bitch lol I'm fully confident that I could do this for you but again it's a pain in the ass an anyone that has the skills is goin to charge you a pretty penny. I did a 8 point 1 3/4" .120 wall DOM cage fully tig welded in an m3 that was scca legal an the price tag was just under 4k because i had about 175 hours into it. The same cage mig welded would have taken 3 nights and would be about 1500$. It's really up to what you want. If your building a show car and have the $$ then by all means shoot me a pm haha but I don't even tig my own cages. Good luck. I can also direct you to a handful of shops that do good work if you wanna shop around

Per NHRA rule book chromoly tubing has to be TIG welded to be certified. But the mounting plates can be MIG'd.

6 point pre-bent , pre-notched kit. Main hoop and down bars are in, but I just need to modify my door bars to be swing-out. I need to have someone finish up some of the welds, my original welder working on it missed some areas because he just couldnt reach with his welding gun.

Google Jason Noren Fabrications. Not too far from you and by far the most reputable in the area

I know a guy, Chuck at Metaltek Racing. The guys welds are absolutely beautiful.

He is just building his site so there isn't much, he used to build titanium arms for the lotus race team amongst tons and tons of other things.

Do you know if he does mobile work ? I need someone to come to me.

I saw his contact info and he is 619 area code, I live in Chino so not sure if it would make sense for him to do a mobile job all the way out by me. The work I need done isn't much for an experienced welder.

The chances of getting this done without bringing your car to a shop are slim and none.
