Official fastrack has been posted and as stated, CS is it's base class. ST classing is still up in the air. Side note, the ST tire proposal letter count has to be the biggest in a while!

Yup he will be there, I talk to Andy quite often. Been talking to him about my DS 2012 WRX. Would have been nice to take a look at a new BRZ up close. My dad has been thinking about buying one on and off.

Talk about magic, yesterday at 1543 you post that the v3s are ordered...and at 2331 you have them in your possesion!

What did you pay to have them air dropped?! Or did you go the cheap route and merely have them launched by cannon to your house?

Very nice. The rates on those are 375/300? OTS valving or custom?

Bill you should be coming to BIR.

I'll be at CenDiv's as well.

Very interested to see how much of a difference those KW's will make. did you find a front sway bar yet?

Would love to... however...got some things to 'sort out' as you well know.. Front Bar is in the works.....hopefully it will be in 'kill' mode for CenDiv's......coming loaded for bear..

Racecomp Engineering posted them a while ago at about 185 lbs/in front and rear. Bunch of stuff on their facebook.

They also posted a shock dyno of the OEM shocks:

Thanks, I miss a lot because I don't Facebook.

Bill, I think the v3 with that spring rate should settle down the rear end...
I would hold off on considering changing the alignment until after testing with the new coilovers. The age old advice to change 1 thing at a time makes a lot of sense when developing a new car. Especially since you don't have the pressure of an upcoming national anymore.

Facebook is now solely for teenage girls....and aftermarket tuners.

I do wonder if the V3's will be a little too soft in the rear though....more stable yes, but a proper alignment, even a first guess, will do a lot on it's own. Rear motion ratio is ~ 0.75.

I'd expect the BRZ to want a higher rear spring rate. The 08+ Impreza does with basically the same geometry and more weight on the front end.

I actually was a little surprised as well that with a even starting point they split the rates that much.

Was this your/ stranos call bill, or is this what kw decided?

Somebody refresh my memory on the struts motion ratio

KW uses really soft rear springs on all the V1/2/3 setups.

Motion ratio is very close to 1:1 in the front and more like 0.75:1 in the rear.

Could just swap front and rear springs I guess.

actually...they had the rates flipped...and Sam and I both agreed to put the fronts on the rear...and the rear on the front...they started with 325 ft...and 400 rear...Sam and I felt...with his RWD experience that that seems a bit odd... I agreed...maybe for 'DRIFTo' that would work... we also talked about alignment...and RWD likes a 'little bit' of toe in the rear to keep it in check... we also talked about sway bars... where he developing a 1" front bar ...we'll see how that works... Sam 'knows' RWD for sure.... 4 FS and 3 ESP NATIONAL Championships...I would say the man, first knows how to drive...and 2nd knows a thing or 2 on setup..
