I used to have a 1983 Volvo. When I traded it in iirc it had 183,000 on it and was still going strong. I was waiting for it to die but it refused to. Still got 1800 for it. If you're taking good care of yours, and it sounds as though you are, it may keep going for a while to come.

Parked it in the garage. My list of things to do while the wife and kid are home in Illinois include:
-Pop open passenger side headlight, clean and re-seal.
-Wrap Turbo
-Clean engine bay
-Replace open end lugs with closed end
-Random crap I'll probly find to do

Removed the air/oil separator from the vacuum lines hoping that it will help solve the lean running issue I'm getting. It is only at idle, which leads me to believe it is just a vacuum leak somewhere. We'll see what driving the car to softball tonight does.

Stupid thing wasn't doing my any good, anyway. If the intake ever starts to get coated with oil, I'll probably pick up a grimmspeed style of air/oil separator to solve that issue.

AJ, before you buy the Grimspeed AOS, talk to Mav1c first.

I had made a similar unit to Prova's and had bad results. I still have my test unit if you want to see it.

Sprayed my manifold, wanting to get some parts on the car while the wife is away and I have a second car.

I'll probably end up not putting anything on the car either.

Long list of parts that need to go on, all of which require codes being turned off.

Drove it from the DC area to Norfolk to check into the new job. Hit some nasty rain along the way - even with nearly new good summer tires I had to slow to below the speed limit for a stretch and could still feel the car skating around a bit. Saw 3 cars that had hydroplaned off - 1 on 95S and 2 on 295.

Have you been to Norfolk before?

Polished my Greddy SE muffler. Maybe I'll get around to polishing the rest of the pipes later, but so far I'm very pleased with the Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish.

Started to polish the muffler:

You can see where I did and didn't polish:

Half way done with cleaning (used Armor All Extreme Wheel & Tire Cleaner with 0000 steel wool):

All done (I couldn't get that connecting flange/pipe cleaned for the life of me)!

finished lca bushing replacement...all 4. car is tight once again.

whiteline's on the front and perrin's in the back. perrin has a stainless crush tube - and a grease port, nice bit. also came with hard and softer bushings - split so easy to swap. my replaced whiteline's had a steel tube that was very corroded on one side.

should have read perrin vs whiteline thread before i bought the whiteline - 6 yrs ago.

How bad is the bushing swap? Alignment all jacked up now? I'll slowly over time replace key bushings that I know will tighten the car up. At least you're in Richmond so you come over and do the work while I sit and point....I mean Help me do the work

On a different note I should be swapping for a wingless trunk later today. I'm hoping the color match is close enough. It's a wingless trunk off a 02 WRX with around 100k miles vs my 04 with only 17k miles and always garage kept.

The other day I went to court for a wreckless driving ticket. I left without paying a dime! Case was dismissed!

^lucky.

i got pulled over last night in front of my apartment (i was so close) by two female cops in manassas for "aftermarket exhaust". fun fact: 2/3 of my exhaust is OEM (only the axleback is not, its either turboxs or cobb). they ended up bs-ing with me and gave a verbal warning.

also they gave me the right to remain sexy ;D

Just got done swapping trunks. Sti is wingless now. Just need to finish detailing it and order some new sti badges.

I also removed my windshield washer reservoir. Car isn't a daily and won't ever be driven in conditions in which I think I'll need it. Looks cleaner under the good too
