Super detailed her Sat and Sun. A 2 day job.

Looks new, but it depresses me because being so clean now, all the blemishes stand out. Being my DD, there is simply no avoiding the door dings, paint chips, wheel nicks, and other issues that bum me out.

Only took me about 1/2 hr to pressure wash off the sun baked deer guts that sprayed along the driver's side last week. *hurl*

Deleted two tabs that didn't need to be there and ground out some more cast marks. Hopefully I can send it off later this week for ceramic coating.

I did the same thing a wile ago with another one of my Intake manifolds.

You don't want to ceramic coat intake parts, that will only help to trap more hot air inside of the Im.

What you want is a heat dispersant paint.

Well I'm not trying to paint it. I want a polished look. I figured the coating wouldn't hurt and it looks good.
I guess polishing would be my best bet?

Well since I finished the scoop vent and made the headlights all pretty I decide to detail the car today... My new STi interior is all shined up, smells good, and spotless! Also polished and sealed the exterior/wheels for that added shine.

Replaced my leaky uppipe last night. Thought there was just a hole in it, turns out the pipe had completely separated from the flange at the manifold
Wasn't as bad as I thought. Only took about an hour.

good thing you replaced it... holy hell. was there a large effect on your boost because of the separation?

what year is the car that the 2011 STI unit fits? is there a difference in your exhaust height?
