Nah, I meant hid headlights? I feel like license plate leds w/reverse leds would look odd with standard headlights...

Me too. I got the material today, I ended up with a lot more than I needed for the same price I was quoted. Got a few extra feet for free. I was thinking I needed this done by Saturday for the pence meet but that is next Saturday.

I am still hoping to have it done by Sunday, which shouldn't be a problem now. Going to try and make the first rough cuts tonight and possibly do a dry install.

Here is the start. It is a rough cut for sure. I put it up test fit and make sure I was headed in the right direction and so far so good. I will continue tomorrow.

You know, I figured at least one person would say that. I might have enough material for a second one.

I'd settle for just the dimensions of it to use as a reference when I build mine

Adjusted the floats on the carb on the Vette, and now its running great! Just have to adjust the throttle cable, replace the odd-ball sized rear tire, finish the wiring for the dash and engine bay, and fix the vacuum headlight system and it will be ready for the road!

I'm sure I can post up the dimensions. Everything is measured out not just eyeballed. Only after it is done though.

^^ Looks much better.

Adjusted the idle on the vette and started diagnosing the vacuum operated headlight system. What a pain in the butt.

I got all the fins cut today. I threw it up to see how everything looks before I continue. I need to make a few bends and cut the ends on the back. I have watch tonight so I won't be able to finish tonight. I should def be able to finish tomorrow though. I'm pretty happy so far.

****ty pics since my phone was about to die.

Finally got the corroded bolts out my kartboy front endlinks! Top bolts weren't too bad but the ones connected to the control arms were a PITA. Finally broke loose after some kroil oil and a swivel socket for the impact wrench.

replaced 3 braided and one oem brake line with 4 goodrich braided brake lines. beld the brakes.

weeks ago i replaced my calipers and did not properly dress one of the brake lines. found that out after changing into my 15" compomotive rally rims and during my 1st run...no brakes.

managed a good run but hit lots of cones bleeding speed by going sideways.

found out the different diameter of the rim rubbed through the brake line.

Took the intake scoop off and used my free thermal tape to block the heat from the bottom. Also added a bit around the oil pan where the header is. And added my plastic skid plate back to the car for if we goto the Pence meet. Also sprayed some self etching primer and black protective paint on the rusty bits in the rear.

Got a late start today but I almost finished my diffuser. It should be finished tomorrow after work. This is the last mock up before mounting the fins and screwing in the diffuser.

Pics are a little dark but it is looking pretty good now.
