Rotated my tires, using one of my old steelies and the oem scissor jack, lol. I'm probably the only one who still uses the oem jack on a regular basis.

I also cleaned the rear wheels, which were CAKED in dirt and rocks.

It took a chisel (flat head) and a wire brush to get it all off. In some places the dirt was like a 1/4 inch thick!

I use mine every time to lift the car high enough to fit my Craftsman jack under it.

Also ordered some more iron x and nano sealant for the massive exterior detail session I plan to do on the car since alot of parts are off for paint, detail the rest so its just as fresh as the newly painted stuff. Looking forward to that day. I would like to have the car ready for Springfest to show it. few months.
If you weren't so far away I'd love to come help. I finished up a huge project a couple years ago and sold the car before relocating up here for way less than what it was worth . Relocation+kid on the way+getting married = selling toys. Not threadjacking but if some of you want to see the work I put into it! http://dirtybird222.smugmug.com/Cars...9281&k=CJxGsh7

BTW - Just ordered a N1 catback. Anyone in the fairfax area have the space or tools to do this? I have some tools but my complex bitched about me installing Rigid Industries Duallys the other day... If not I can try to utilize the hobby shop at one of the bases around here.

I still use the OEM jack just because it has the slit in it to not damage the sideskirt. I hate when you smash it down and then pins pop out if you use some other pneumatic jack :\

I agree, even though it was only ~$200 pounds/quid/rubies/etc still impressed. I enjoyed the episode so I recorded it.

Drop one of these in your real floor jack:
http://www.eastwood.com/floor-jack-a...odel-cars.html

I had to take an inch or so off each end, it was too long for the front lift points.

Ugh 60 or so more months left . Less if I keep up with paying extra on every payment. Most of the tax return check will go towards paying it off as well.

This last student loan I have left to pay off though is a b***H! US Dept. of Education sold it off to some 3rd party lender and it's not an APR of 6.8% its a MPR of 6.8% bastages!

Congrats! I still continue to put that money from the car payment into my savings account automatically (direct deposit) so it's like I'm still making a car payment but it's building my savings account up even more than what it is!

Finished pulling apart the EZ30D that I bought from another MAICer recently. Haven't pulled the rods off the crank to look at those bearings yet, but I did find a nice gouge in the front of the thrust bearing.
