Invidia catted DP and Q300 CBE, AEM CAI, and kartboy shifter bushings. It all took about 6 hours with the help of a friend and access to a full garage.

Started with the intake:

The kit from AEM was very nice...all went together pretty well. The heat shield was a bit tough to line up--had to use some pressure to force it over the stock bolts that attach it to the fender.

The stock exhaust came off next:

The stock heatshield bolts were pretty tough to get to, but it helped having access to an array of professional tools. We did not have to take the intercooler off and a bit of WD-40 helped break the downpipe bolts and studs loose.

Stock gasket (not in too bad of shape--about 35k on the car). Replaced with a grimmspeed gasket:

The shifter bushings were easy with the exhaust and lower heat shield off:

Done around 4:30am...long night. Just bolting everything on resulted in decent tip alignment:

We weren't really happy with it (right side hanging a little lower) so we spent 20 minutes tonight trying to get them straighter. It's not 100% perfect, but it's much better than it was:

The exhaust sounds awesome. It's not very loud at idle (which is what I wanted) but has a nice tone when you get on the throttle. Overall I am very pleased with the result (running the cobb stage 2 + AEM 93 map). I have a protune scheduled with Jorge at IAG on March 9 so I am looking forward to seeing what kind of improvements that will get me.

I installed "yellow" DRL, which aren't really yellow and some better looking LED license plate bulbs lol

Took off my fog lights so the body shop can get my front bumper off. Sigh.

The bar was level and the lights were aimed almost perfectly too. Sigh.

They're going back on....eventually.
Probably rewire while I'm at it, and maybe mount them inside the bumper and not on a bar (with the help of a dremel).

FP green has been on the car for about 45k miles, 2.5-3 years, been on dyno twice and driven everyday with the usual shenanigans.

Got all 4 door handles and belt moldings off but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THIS PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR WONT COME OFF. THE HULK PUT IT IN. BROKE MY SECOND IMPACT SCREWDRIVER BIT. RIDICULOUS. im raging right now.

Washed the BRZ and waxed just the hood. Too tired to do the rest and there's friggen concrete dust everywhere due to construction in the neighborhood

Thoroughly cleaned the wrx and put a nice coat of collinite 845 on it. That should keep the paint protected until spring when I can go over it with a fine tooth comb.

Painted new Vlimited lip (old one is in two pieces..) painted new ht autos side skirt lips. Mounted new wheels, dialed in camber and height and such, and then installed new Vlimited lip. Ran out of time on the side skirts. Doesn't sound like a lot but it took all day.

Re painted my lip tonight. I'll probably paint my spats in the next week or so. Also washed it and detailed my bbs wheels for spring. I need to paint one and touch up another before I mount them.

Just dropped it off to get the deer damages fixed, and won't get it back until Friday.

Im already DYING at the thought of someone starting / moving / working on / touching, my car for a week.

I understand. I had mine in the shop for running over some sort of animal. Longest 1.5 weeks ever. Gotta take it to the dealer tomorrow for oil leaks and it should take a day and I'm not looking forward to it either.

Wow well I can't say much. I used to work at enterprise and had a hookup. 2013 XTS. I was spoiled lol. Tomorrow the dealership is giving me some sort of Subaru loaner so it won't be to bad.

I dropped mine off at the dealer today woohoo. So it's pretty fn stupid I can buy a car on my own and get my own insurance but being I'm under 25 (24) I can't get a loaner.
