That happened to me today too. I was on a two lane road and there was construction. So the workers let everyone in the oncoming lane go, then told me to punch it once it was all clear haha. It was a back road so don't flame me and plus i didn't exceed the speed limit.

^haaaa yeah dude i loved it. I was getting off the interstate b/c of the traffic n so i pulled into the service lane right before the exit and the uhaul in front of me (that was egging me on earlier) waved me past. So i ripped it past them n the jersey wall + nur spec = win for all. My wife woke up n said "wow, yer car sounds like a race car. i like it"

This was technically yesterday on the way into work: hit 1.9 lbs of boost. I was tryting not to hit any. I live three miles away from work and trying to save as much gas as I can. Not that exciting though.

The 18g hits later than a small turbo, I was lightly pressing the gas and still shifting around 3k. I'm not even sure where I hit the 1.9.

Finishing up a 05 sti drivetrain swap into my 02 wrx. Also repainting my bbs and bleeding my new brembos.

Been working on it for about 10 days:-/. Working 55 hours a week with an 8 month old makes it hard to get much done during the week. But it's almost done!

Considering the stopping distance is actually SHORTER on the 3G cars vs the 4 pot/2pot setup on prevoius cars I'd say they dont suck.. they're just not what you'd expect on a car of this performance level.

Mine have kept the nose of my '10 off of a great many of hampton roads terrible drivers.. and a few idiot pedestrians. I'd say they work pretty damned well for what they are.

Sure I'd prefer brembos... but they aren't needed.

Unless you're tracking the car the factory brakes are fine. Get some good pads/fluid, stainless lines and a master cyl brace and that'll fix the spongy feel.

I've gotten mine to fade but I had to push them FAR beyond any legal street driving conditions to do it.

It only cost me $20 for the heat gun and I used the boys bat.
I was trying to find my post with the pic of the end result but had to do on my phone.

Polished the windshield, got a lot of the little scratches and chips off. Continued with the headlights and the side mirrors.

Packed the car for the race tomorrow. Checked all fluids and noticed my mbc was turned down a bit, put it back where it should be.
