Went to P-Tuning on Saturday morning and had the RPF-1's put on and an alignment done. Bye-bye squishy winter setup, hello grip. So much better.

So far I love them. They are the 17x8's. My winter setup is just a cheap set of 16x7 Sport Editions with Blizzaks. Didn't get steelies only because the Sport Edition set was cheaper at the time.

KYB Excel-G's (renamed GR-2's), Forester Swift Springs, and STi Group-N strut top mounts.

Since I don't have a WRX/STi, I don't have nearly as many choices in suspension setups to wade through like you.

Throwing my 2 cents in since I've had the RPF1s for half a year now. I also have them in 17-8, and I absolutely love them. Obviously your grip is gonna depend what tires you put on them, but I think they look great; almost retro-ish. I can also attest to their durability, driving down backroads full of pot holes and city streets that haven't been taken care of in decades almost every day, and I've only needed to balance them when I first bought them, and when it came time to put winter tires on them. They haven't deformed at all, and no steering wheel wobble has ever developed with them. I probably didn't have to get them balanced when I put on the winter set up, but I figured "why not?". Hope this helps man
