Replaced the wimpy stock horn in my OBS with some horns that came off of the jdm front end that's going onto my buddies Bug eye.

Its been a pretty productive day

Wooow that reminds me of how the stock horn sounds.

It sounds more at home on a vespa than a car. And I had to use them a few times between the two weeks that I got the car and the time I could transfer hellas from the wrx to it. Thank goodness for hella’s.

If your OBS is stock then (02-06) wrx front brakes for it stat! You’ll need wrx 16”s tho.

Oh, and I also cleaned the pollen off my windows prior to the pics. And put gas in it.

Made a make shift boot collar (no pun intended) until I can get the permanent Delrin piece made.

Made it from some 1 1/4 round stock I found laying around in the shop. drilled, tapped and painted in 25 mins.

Loctite on caliper bolts = fail (I was sitting in my apartment complex's parking lot hammering a breaker bar... still wouldn't come loose until I damn near broke my back. The Pep boys air impact gun took a minute or two to get the other 3 off, each):

Stripped a stud, which consequently stripped a Project Kics R40 lug nut = fail (this was my bad...

):

Finally got my DBA slotted rotors on the fronts = marginally winning:

Tomorrow I attack the rears. Hopefully I don't run into any more fuggin' loctite.

I'll be picking up those 8mmx1.25 bolts at Lowes tomorrow before attacking the rears. Or, hell, I may just change the rotors at Lowes so that if I need more tools/hardware, I can walk in and buy it
