i had that once. i tightened the belt a little and sprayed some stop squeak stuff and it went away. if you end up needing a new pump though, i happen to have one.

i need to clean my IACV, swap out hubs from my parts car so my wheel bearing noise will stop, and piece together my broken vlimited rep lip for OCAWD this weekend

Thanks bud. I'm not really a huge fan of roof racks, but I need it for bike transport. Tearing the bike apart to put it in my rear seat was getting annoying and it was starting to take a toll on the rear interior trim pieces.

Looks good! I've always been curious how you install those. I'm really tempted to get some, how much were they?

Just installed my kenwood nav system successfully, (still need to attack parking brake and speed wire for it though) If anyone has a wire diagram/pics, location, help where I should hook up those last 2 wires, PM me please?

Also, attempted to wire up my gauges (Boost, EGT, Oil Press.) but then it got too dark for me to finish.

Installed the front axles, installed the shifter linkage, hooked up about 70% of the engine plugs and hoses. I also painted my brembo's, I will have pics of those tomorrow, they were still drying when I left for work.

I need to drop the rear diff and axles and put the driveshaft on. Still looking good to have her on the road by this weekend.

My trans crossmembers should be here tomorrow and the avcs wiring will be here on Friday. Then it is time to tune.

Nice! I'd like to get 3, but I've got too much other stuff I want first.

I have that same problem on my 2005 Legacy. I'm going to drain and replace the fluid to see if that helps. Cheaper than a new p/s pump, that's for sure.

Nice! I have a similar setup. OEM cross bars, Inno fairing, and 2 Thule Peloton racks (looks like you have the Echelon).

well i just went and had a subie guy i work with check it out with me. with the car at idle, when you turn the steering wheel, the power steering pump pulley slows down (visually), and the belt squeals. however, when the rev's are up, the pump acts accordingly. so i believe it's either a tension, fluid line, or fluid issue.

the belts might just need changing as well. theyre probably old :/

I turned my MAF around so it wasn't backwards and my car worked again.

For an entertaining story of my pain, check out this thread:
