Yeah it is. I had to buy the shorter 04 STI caliper bolts though. The kit I bought came with the 05+ STI brackets and super long bolts. So far they feel the same as my 2000 STI four pots I had on the front.

Did my oil change and A/C evaporator flush last night.

I think I'll put on my roof rack tomorrow and take some pictures. It's about that time to break out the Pink "SPT" kayak!

Retrofitted my stock halogens with morimoto d2s 6000k bulbs, painted housings, clear corners and switchback turn signals. Turned out good after I rewired the harness trs sent me. I like those guys but man did they cause me some troubleshooting when the passenger side didn't come on. [IMG][/IMG]

Thanks smurf. I meant to say too: thanks to infinite012 for calming me down during the install, and my awesome gf who helped me out throughout the process. If not for them I never would have got the lights working properly.

Put an EZ30R in it.

OK, well, it was only a short block. And it only went into the trunk so that I could take it over to a self-storage unit. But it was the first time the engine has been in the car, so it's progress, dammit!!

Took off the intake manifold and tgv deletes off the old motor and put them up for sale. I have already recieved 6 offers for them since 3 pm when I posted them.

Took off the old clutch from the old motor as well, that is being picked up on Friday.

Just before work Phatron sent me a new map, tried loading that up before driving to work, FAIL. I didn't have enough time. I will do that in the morning before I leave the parking lot. Then I will do I a log and send that off, hopefully have a new map waiting for me in the afternoon.

Where are you able to do logs w/o having issues ie traffic and popo? I cant do a full 4th gear pull cause that puts me way over 100 mph. Kinda wish i lived by farm country.

Yeah so far. We are only on the second gear pulls. He just got back from vacation so I haven't done a lot of tuning, unfortunately. I have a small stretch of hwy that I should be able to "safely" do the higher gear pulls.

I really want to autox on Sunday but not until this tune is done. That gives me six days to try and log and load.

Well I am excited as hell about this week and I am not trying to boast.... but my next mod is gonna be hard to top and I am quite sure its gonna increase my driving experience 10 fold.

HOE delete (human optical enchancement)

Getting rid of those pesky glasses and getting laser eye surgery. Not as cool as a tgv delete, i know. Wish me luck anywho... thursday i am either: a) gonna be blind b) gonna have no change in vision or c) 20/20. Lets hope for c!

My mom had lasic (spelling?) about a decade ago in her mid 40's she is now in her mid 50's. Her glasses used to be so thick she could accidentally start fires like Cyclops in X-men on a sunny day, and if she dropped her contacts it sounded like a dime hitting the floor. This was when the procedure was first introduced, and she now 10 years later in her mid 50's has just started having to wear light reading glasses. You'll be fine. You're getting a more advanced treatment, and should have even better results. Congrats!

Spent the entire weekend on doing this:

-removed turbo & fixed slow coolant leak it had from leaky banjo bolt washer
-installed new perrin dp
-installed new CBE, much quieter than before
-installed heatshield
-installed turbo inlet hose thing, what a pain in the ass!!!
-installed 1/4 of a mishimoto TMIC hose kit, the fkin rest of it doesn't fit so i had to put my stocker back on in the meantime!! >_<
-fixed horn not working issue
-installed group n engine mounts...had to remove swaybar to get access to bolts but otherwise easier than i was expecting
-installed group n tranny mount, lining up the fkin studs from the mount to the xbrace is a bitch
-installed kartboy shift bushing..had to cut old one out cuz it wouldn't come out evAr

And now my car feels way slower and runs like ****!!! only hits 12 psi...must have a boost or vac leak somewhere, fvck sake.
